Biography

Edgar Lindley Warren was born on November 3, 1858, in Durham, New Hampshire. Before he attended the Andover Theological Seminary, he was a official reporter of the Maine Senate and a journalist for the "Kennebec Journal" and the "Boston Herald." Warren graduated from Andover in 1886, after which he spent another year in special study. He was a pastor in Claremont, New Hampshire (1889-1993), North Attleboro, Massachusetts (1893-1896), Westerly, Rhode Island (1896-1897), Wolfboro, New Hampshire (1897-1902), Hampton, New Hampshire (1903-1905) and North Hampton, New Hampshire (1906-1907).
