Biography
Stephen Williams was born in 1716. He was captured along with family members in the Deerfield Raid of 1714. He survived capicity, attended Harvard College and became a minister. Williams died in 1757.

In a three page letter to Rev. Stehphen Williams of Longmeadow, MA, Sylvanus Ripley of Dresden writes about the state of the College, how the danger from the war has lessened, Scout has returned from Canada with news, and Mrs. Ripley has been ill.
