Biography
Benjamin Colman was born on October 19, 1673 in Boston, Massachusetts. He graduated from Harvard College in 1692 after which he studied theology and became a Presbyterian clergyman. He died in 1747.

Three-page letter from Jonathan Edwards of Northampton to Benjamin Colman in Boston. Edwards speaks at length of the deaths of the members of Coleman's family. Coleman still continues to serve the congregation.
