Biography
Ichabod Goodwin II was a soldier and congressman from South Berwick, Maine. He was a member of the provincial congress in 1775 and 1777; and was lieutenant-colonel of Gerrish's York county regiment, having charge of the Saratoga prisoners. He was major-general of militia from 1783 to 1815; a member of the general court in 1792; and sheriff of York county, Maine, from 1793 to 1820.
