Biography
Benjamin Thomas Blanfield was born on July 24, 1848 in Seville, Ohio. He received a B.S. M.A., and Ph.D. from Bethany College in West Virginia in 1871 and 1897 respectively. From 1872-1878 he was instructor of chemistry at Dartmouth College and from 1890-1899, professor of science at Bethany College. Blanfield died in 1913.
