Weeks, William, 1755-1843

 

Biography

William Weeks was commissioned paymaster with the rank of captain during the Revolutionary War. He was at the surrender of Burgoyne, served as quartermaster under George Washington and resigned, 1778. He was born at Greenland, New Hampshire and was a pensioner when he died at Hopkinton, New Hampshire.
