Three page letter from Ebenezer Caulkins of Paris, Clinton Society to Peter Thacher telling him that he is sending his journal and a draft for £40. Would like to go back to the Indians if he could be made more comfortable.

Letter from Hendrick Aupaumut of New Stockbridge to Peter Thacher informing him that he has acted as a scribe for the Indians when they send complaints of Kirkland. Wishes the Board would send someone to look over the dispute between Kirkland and the Oneidas.

They cannot use the money collected for Moor's school for anything else unless they have good evidence that it has not been misappropriated. They wish a committee to examine into matters at Hanover. Quotes a letter giving a most discouraging account of conditions among the Six Nations, and of the work of Kirkland and Caulking. List of questions about Moor's School and Dartmouth College to be answered by the committee.
