Biography
Lucretia Martin was born September 12, 1930. She came to Hanover in the early sixties as a faculty spouse. She began her career at Dartmouth in the late sixties as a research assistant and in 1970 became an assistant to then President-elect John Kemeny. Lucretia Martin spent thirty-five years serving the College in numerous capacities: special assistant to four presidents, director of major gifts, director of capital giving, director of principal gifts and director of development. She retired in 2003.
