Biography
Dwight Conn was born on October 7, 1890 in Concord, New Hampshire. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1914. After graduation he went to Philadelphia where he was secretary of the Dartmouth Club from 1917-1920. In 1922 he was on the editorial staff of the Dramatic Mirror in New York City, reviewing plays. He saw practically every play on Broadway for many years and maintained a complete collection of programs which he left to Harvard. He had physical impairments which made him extremely shy, and also unable to do any heavy work, but he loved music and did some composing and accompanying for singers on occasion. Never married, Dwight Conn died on July 31, 1965.
