Biography

For nearly thirty years Dr. Solon Smith, as he was called, was the leading physician and surgeon of Sutton, Mass. He graduated from Yale Medical College,class of 1816. He was the eldest son of Dr. Nathan Smith, founder of Yale and Dartmouth medical schools.
