Rev. Ebenezer Price was born on 14 Sep 1771 at Newburyport MA. He died on 19 Feb 1864 in Boston MA. He fitted for college with Rev. Isaac Smith, and was the first from the town of Gilmanton to receive honors of Dartmouth College, which he did in 1793. He studied Divinity with his brother-in-law, Rev. Samuel Hidden of Tamworth, and was ordained first minister of Belfast Maine Dec 1796, staying there for about 6 years. He was dismissed by his own request 22 Sep 1802. He was installed at the 2nd Congregational Church in Boscawen NH 26 Sep 1804 where he continued for many years. He was connected with an insurance office in Boscawen NH.
