Biography

Paul Paganucci was born on April 18, 1931 in Waterville, Maine. He received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College in 1953 and his MBA from Tuck School of Business in 1954. He then received his J.D. degree from Harvard Law School in 1957. He went to work for W.R. Grace and Company following law school. In 1961, Paganucci cofounded the investment banking firm of Lombard, Vitalis and Paganucci with two Dartmouth classmates and went on to serve the firm as president, treasurer, and director. In 1972, Paganucci came to work for Dartmouth as an associate dean and professor of business administration at Tuck Business School. He was named chief financial officer and vice president and treasurer and served in that position until 1986. In 1991 he helped found Ledyard National Bank, and since its beginning he chaired its board of directors.

Paul Paganucci died on February 26, 2001.
