Biography
Sylvester Blood was born in Orford, NH, on September 25, 1793. During his life, he served as a liquor agent and farmer in Grafton County, NH, and was married three times to a Tabitha Marston, Hannah Corlissa, and Fannie Beal, respectively. He had one daughter Louisa Webster (Blood) Powell and one son, George. He also cared for an orphaned nephew and charge, Cyrus Blood. Sylvester Blood died September 14, 1874, in Orford, NH.
