Biography
John G. Skewes was born on May 8, 1929 and graduated from Dartmouth as a member of the Class of 1951. Following graduation he enlisted in the military and fought in the Korean War. He returned to Dartmouth following the war and earned his MBA in 1956 from the Tuck School. In 1960 Mr. Skewes began a 33-year career at Dartmouth, beginning as the assistant business manager, moving through the ranks of the business affairs office to become director of business affairs in 1985. Mr. Skewes retired from the College in 1993.
