Biography

Wendell Howard Woolworth (1891-1965). Retired as a Major in US Army was also a columnist for the Buffalo Courier Express. Dartmouth Class of 1915; Thayer School of Engineering, 1916. Woolworth was assistant to the Chief Engineer on the construction of the Holland Tunnel and commanded the first company of Americans to land in France in World War I.
