From the Collection:

The papers of Frank Gilroy contain typescripts of his plays, screenplays, television series, novels, novellas and stories. Other materials include correspondence, journals, financial and legal documents, contracts, photographs, slides, audio recordings, news clippings and publicity ephemera. The collection chronicles Gilroy's professional life as a writer, director and producer. Of note is correspondence and legal documents related to Gilroy's law suit against ABC Television and Four Star Entertainment over the use of one of his characters in "Burke's Law." Additionally, the papers contain drafts and production files for many of his publications and movies, including "The Subject was Roses,” "The Luckiest Man in the World," "The Gig," "Money Plays," "Desperate Characters," and "Once in Paris.” Gilroy’s journals are restricted from public access.
