Jobs, 1963 - 1977

Contains job envelopes with proofs, notes and samples of tickets and ticket stubs, bookplates, letterheads, invitiations, acknowledgements, announcements, calling cards, envelopes, gummed labels and other printed ephemera. Most of the packets are for the purchasing department of Dartmouth College. The rest are for a variety of College departments, organizations and affiliates including fraternities, as well as businesses in Hanover, Lebanon and the larger Upper Valley. They include the Nugget Theatre, the Church of Christ, Howe Library, the Hanover Inn, Rand Funeral Home, the Midget Diner, Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital and many others. Some jobs were for Hanover residents, professors, and local alumni including, Paul Sample, John Scotford, Stephen Harvard and Ray Nash. Hanover Press also worked on orders for Kimball Union Academy, Phillips Exeter Academy, the Boston Public Library, and the American Antiquarian Society.
