NATIONAL COLLEGE DEBATE FINALS 4/7/86; The 40th annual National Debate tournament matches Georgetown University in the affirmative and the University of Kentucky in the negative in the finals. The issue volubly debated: the hitherto doubtful constitutionality of teaching Creation Science in public schools. The most significant aspect of the debate is how the tension between State Rights and Federalism comes to the fore. The University of Kentucky comes away as the victor.
