Contains professional and personal correspondence with publishing houses and agents in the United States and abroad, as well as correspondence with scholars, academics, and researchers, including correspondence between Caldwell and the "Paris Review." The material documents Caldwell's career as an author. Of note are fan letters, many received in response to a column Caldwell wrote for "Family Weekly" magazine.
