From the Collection:
The oral history collection of John Sloan Dickey contains audiocassette recordings, reel to reel tapes, transcripts of the recordings and a tape log of the interview. The interview was conducted by Professor Jere Daniell periodically over the years 1975-1978. The entire interview runs for approximately 45 hours and covers President Dickey's childhood in Pennsylvania through his undergraduate experience at Dartmouth to his legal career and experiences at the U.S. Department of State and culminates in discussions of his presidency of Dartmouth College.
