Description
Announces that he has been very busy and has a pile of unanswered letters at his side that must remain so until he has some leisure time. Complains that Occom has never thanked him for being a steady friend and the primary spokesman for his financial needs, nor has he expressed the brotherly love or compassion for Wheelock that he has received. Remarks that he has been spoken of not as a friend by Occom, but quite to the contrary. If Occom wants to be his friend, and work for the cause, he is welcome to do so; but he has no right to judge Wheelock’s plans from afar.
