One holds newspaper clippings related to Percy MacKaye, a letter to the editor written by MacKaye to the New York Times, typewritten versions of his poetry, a letter written to his children about his relationship with his wife, biographical information written by MacKaye to be inserted in "Old New York Families," information concerning MacKaye for inclusion in the "Biographical Encyclopedia of the World," excerpts from "Epoch: The Life of Steele MacKaye," and various correspondence. The other holds an open letter to Jane Austen concerning a play, and various handwritten and typewritten poetry
