Bunker wall is being built at fire suport base Pershing. Empty mortar and artillery shell boxes are filld with dirt and stacked against at imber frame. The monkey was a 2/12th battalion pet with a mean disposition. Comment on back of photo: "Who's in charge here? It seems that Snoopy, the pet monkey, is the honcho as 2/12 warriors hustle to build a bunker at fire support base Pershing. - SP4 Jeff Jinman, 12 Dec 69"; Location: Fire Support base, Pershing, Northwest of Cu Chi, South Vietnam; photo by Jeff Hinman '68
