Description
Greg was drafted In 1969 after earning a degree in journalism. The army made him an infantryman and assigned him to the 2nd Battalion, 14th Inf, 25th Inf Division. When we inquired about getting a battalion correspondent/photographer's job, he was told that if he got a purple heart he could get the correspondent job. Shortly afterwards, Greg got the purple heart and the job. After his Vietnam tour, Greg became a journalist and married his high school sweetheart.; Location: Cu Chi, Vietnam, 25th Infantry Division Base; photo by Jeff Hinman '68
