Philip Wawanolet discusses legends of the porcupine and beaver and other vocabulary. Ambrose Obomsawin and Stephen Laurent are recorded. They discuss: “Dialogue 11” from Joseph Laurent’s English and Abenaki Dialogues, “the Abenaki Anthem” song (Wigodamoda, which translates to “let us joy”), war dance song, snake dance song, prayer words, song (Au Nicolet), and the Swadesh 100–word vocabulary tool for linguistics.
