Description
This series primarily consists of typescripts for several articles that Puzo wrote over the course of his career. Included here is a copy of his review of James Baldwin's Tell Me How Long the Train's Been Gone, which appeared in The New York Times in 1968, as well as correspondence with editors at Book World for which Puzo wrote a satirical interview mocking the Paris Review's "Writers at Work" series. Many of the articles reveal Puzo as a sharp-tongued... social and literary critic. They also deal with subjects of life-long importance to Puzo, such as New York City and gambling. Researchers should note that this series does not represent a comprehensive list of all the articles that Puzo authored.
