Part of MS-1371: Mario Puzo Papers

Description

From the Series:

Series 9 contains book outlines, chapter drafts, galley proofs, correspondence, and photographs relating to one of the few book-length works of non-fiction Puzo wrote: Inside Las Vegas, published in 1977. In this text, Puzo reflects on what makes Las Vegas a unique space in America. Inside Las Vegas pairs Puzo's prose with a series of documentary-style photographs, both black-and-white and color, which capture life on the Vegas strip. The photographs in Inside Las Vegas were taken by three photographers-John Launois, Michael Abramson, and Susan Fowler-Gallagher. Researchers will also find in this series Puzo's research documentating the history of gambling in the U.S. and abroad.
