Correspondence: Letter from John D. Hess (brother), June 18, 1944 (photocopy), undated

The correspondence of Carl B. Hess relates to a letter Hess sent to Dartmouth President Ernest Martin Hopkins in 1944, with thoughts of what it meant to be an alumnus ten years after graduation. Hopkins responded and the letter and the response were subsequently published in the Dartmouth Alumni Magazine. Correspondence between Hess and Hopkins as well as Charles E.
