Contains boxes and files of personal correspondence of John Hurd and his wife Eleanor (some of it in German), a magazine article on a search for a copy of “Hamlet” in Denmark, newspaper clippings, picture postcards of the mission of San Juan Capistrano, receipts, postcards, a file with information for freshman advisors on incoming Dartmouth freshman, as well as booklets of information for Dartmouth freshman, clippings from literary magazines, including a review of Aldous Huxley’s “Brave New World,” and several other clippings relating to Huxley, photographs, play programs, a copy of “The Dartmouth Quarterly,” graded English papers, and a booklet on and review of Laurence Olivier’s “Henry V.”
