"The Persistence of Matriliny: A Case Study from Ghana"; Tuesday 26 April 1983 at 4:00 pm in 103 Carpenter Hall, Dartmouth College; John Middleton is Professor of Anthropology at Yale University. He has a D.Phil. in Social Anthropology from Oxford University. He has done field research in Uganda, Zanzibar, Nigeria and Ghana and is the author and editor of numerous works including "Lugbara Religion."
