The collection contains artificially created subject files relating to Dartmouth College and the Upper Connecticut River Valley area of New Hampshire and Vermont. The files contain letters, newspaper clippings, flyers, brochures, writings, photographs, and other documents; the Dartmouth Library staff created the files over decades. The files are arranged alphabetically, with some subjects having multiple files.
