Description

Contains news clippings, photocopies, and reproductions of articles dating from 1976-1979 about the Dartmouth "Indian Symbol." Of note are articles about a 1979 incident in which several white students wearing redface and dressed in stereotypical costumes rushed onto the ice during a hockey match. It also includes articles about the Hovey murals, with photos featuring racist and sexist stereotypes of Indigenous people.
