Description
Contains newspaper clippings, fliers, brochures, pamphlets, safe sex packets, a song, and a bumper sticker dating from ca. 1950 to ca. 2017. The vertical file primarily documents the safe sex movement that grew out of the AIDS epidemic of the 1980s, but also includes an opinion piece on the sexual morals of college students from the 1950s, and a derisive and sexually explicit rewriting of a verse from the Alma mater that sexually objectifies women.
