Description

The file contains material documenting Wah Hooh Wah Turkey Farm, a non-profit turkey farm located in Lebanon, NH started by Harold B. Naramore, an "adopted" Dartmouth alumnus from the class of 1914 and father of two Dartmouth graduates. Materials include a farm menu, newspaper clippings from The Valley News and The Rutland Daily Herald, and an article from Dartmouth Alumni Magazine on the history of the farm. The Dartmouth Alumni article contains a racist illustration depicting a stereotype of an Indigenous person that was used as the trademark for the Turkey Farm's marketing materials in and around 1955.
