Women Of Dartmouth: see also Coeducation
Description
This file includes news clippings, pamphlets, ephemera, reports, memoranda, and other records documenting the experience of women students at Dartmouth from the 1970s-1990s. It contains documents with misogynistic language and images, including the lyrics to the parody song "Our Co-hogs." It also contains a copy of a letter containing misogynistic slurs that was slipped under the door of every room in all-female Woodward Hall soon after coeducation in April 1973, as well as a response to it from some women students.
