Items written and published by Gordon Day on the history of the Abenakis. There are two copies of “The Tree Nomenclature of the Saint Francis Indians,” written by Day, a copy of Ethnohistory Volume 12 Number 3, and a “Proposed Program of Research on New England Indians,” by William "Bill" Bryant in collaboration with Day. Copies of Day’s work that were published in the Dartmouth College Library Bulletin are also included, as are two documents composed by Stephen Laurent.
