From the Collection:

The collection contains material accruing with the William P. Haddock family, including correspondence, receipts, newspapers, orders, a speech in front of the US Senate and notes, relating to Hanover, NH, Dartmouth College and relative Mills Olcott. Correspondents include Nathan Smith, Nathaniel Weeks, George Chase, Charles B. Haddock, William T. Heydock, Caleb M. Dyer, and William S. Haddock. Of note is a 1817 letter from Nathan Smith about the Dartmouth Medical School and a description of his land in Norwich, Vermont. Transcriptions by Ralph Wadleigh are also included.
