From the Collection:

The oral history interview of John Neale is comprised of one audiocassette recording and a tape log of the recording. The interview was conducted by Arthur M. Wilson on July 8, 1975. The entire interview runs for approximately one hour. Neale talks about the nature of the Speech Department, the origins of the debating program and debating coach. He speaks of Dean Gordon Bill, Hopkins' style, Dickey's administration, the Cirotta Case, the nature of... student discipline, and the change in deans. He also tells of his involvement in town affairs, the Trustees Planning Committee, and Town Planning Board.
