The collection contains promotional brochures, travel guides, and maps for the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Materials document tourism and travel advertising in the region from the mid-nineteenth century through the 1980s. Brochures advertise lodgings and local attractions (including ski mountains and state parks and forests), as well as specific towns and regions. There is a small amount of material from locations outside the White Mountains.
