Contains documents concerning the adminstration and general functioning of the Hanover Aqueduct Association, including duplicate copies of reports of the Association to the Public Service Commission of New Hampshire for the years 1912 to 1940, a small book with a description of the Association, the Association Record of Deed Volumes I (1821 to 1865) and II (1867 to 1878), the “Records of the Charter of the Hanover Aqueduct Association; and of the Meetings, votes, and proceedings of the Corporation” (1820 to 1867), a notebook of miscellaneous memoranda (1883), a notebook entitled “Material of Labor” (1880), and a small notebook of property records. Also contains a variety of financial information of the Association recorded in books and journals. These include the “Record of Water Bills” for the years 1876 to 1891, eight smaller record books organized by name ranging from the years 1850 to 1880, the Association’s Treasurer Book Volumes I (1821 to 1825), II (1826 to 1832), and III (1833 to 1840), a ledger orgnanized by name and containing information from1898 through 1914, a book of stock notes (1880 to 1912), a records book organized by name (1827 to 1927), “Records of Dividends to Stock Holders” (1908 to 1930), two books of general financial records (1876 to 1883 and 1890 to 1894), and another treasurer book (1881 to 1908).
