Description
Three-page letter from Benjamin Hale at Dartmouth College to Parker Cleaveland at Bowdoin College, Brunswick, Maine, telling him that he will send minerals soon. Trustees have voted $100 for geological books and writer asks for suggestions. A room in which to display 800 geological specimens is to be finished in the fall. Mr. Lord elected President. Includes postscript to Prof. Smyth.
