Description
Three-page letter from Cutting Marsh in Statesburgh near Green Bay to John Codman, Secretary of the Boston Board of Commissioners, telling him that he accepts the appointment by the Society in Scotland as missionary to the Stockbridge Indians. The esteem in which his predecessors are held. The deplorable condition of the Indians.
