W.B. Wiegand diary
Description
The papers of W.B. Wiegand contain his Arctic diary in which he describes his 1912 voyage on board the C.G.S.[Canadian Government Ship] "Arctic" along the coast of Labrador and in Hudson Bay, and a log of the ice conditions the "Arctic" encountered during this trip. A copy of Wiegand's monographs "Churchill and Nelson" and "The Arctic in Hudson Strait" are bound with the diary. Collection also includes a typescript of his essay entitled "Marble Island - an Arctic beauty spot."
