Includes previously unpublished private letters of Donald Ross of Norway House, Sir George Simpson, Sir James Douglas, Earl Cathcart, Thomas Simpson, Bishop Anderson, Peter Skene Ogden and other chief officers of he Hudson's Bay Company and their contemporaries.
