Description
The papers of Gavin David White contain correspondence, articles, and notes concerning Arctic indigenous peoples in Canada (referred to as "Eskimos"), slavery in Canada, the introduction of reindeer into northern Canada, and Farley Mowat's book, "People of the Deer." Correspondence with Farley Mowat is also included.
