Four-page letter from Kendrick Metcalf in Le Roy, New York to Benjamim Hale in Geneva, New York,telling him that he cannot report favorably in respect to subscriptions for Hobart.He visited New Hampshire and preached sermon for Father Howe. Prof. Shurtleff laments the growth of Abolitionism at Dartmouth. Writer had conversation in stage coach in regard to Hale's removal.
