Description
Letter from Charles Humphrey Atherton in Amherst, New Hampshire to Edmund W. Toppan, saying that "in the Hampton cause the court laid stress on what they supposed to be the intuition of the C.S. as to relinquishing their incorporation. If so the intention is an important fact, on which the town are entitled to have the finding of a jury. Please mention this to Mr. Bartlett."
