Letters from Henry Hart Milman on Deanery, St. Pauls to George Ticknor in Boston including a letter of introdcution for Lyolph Stanley. Is very impressed with Prescott's History of Ferdinand and Isabella. Introduces his friend C. Lyell. Talks about those who have died, Hallam, Prescott, Elphinstone, W. Irving and about the letters he received as well as other literary matters. Includes letter from A. Milman to George Ticknor, March 1, 1870.
