Description

Letter from Daniel Webster to an unidentfied recipient in which Webster requests that the unnamed correspondent receive a packet from George F. Lawyer, assigned to the Fulton in the U.S. Navy. Webster also makes a reference to the presidential campaign of 1840. Webster campaigned for Whig nominee, William Henry Harrison, and had just finished making speeches at Stratton Mountain and Bellows Falls in Vermont.
