Two-page letter from Daniel Webster in Washington, DC to Solomon Lincoln, talking acout the consideration of John Quincy Adams as candidate for senate seat when Webster vacates it (before March 3). Relations with England regardng northeast boundary dispute. (Ashburton came followin April on negotiations.) Appointment for collectors at Plymouth and Boston.
